События фильма, предположительно, происходят в Англии, где-то в 18-м веке. Но в отличие от пуританских нравов «реальной Англии», здесь всё гораздо свободнее. Горничные ходят в форме, которая совершенно не скрывает их прелестей. Их удовлетворение всех потребностей хозяев - неотъемлемая часть их работы, причём это общепринято. В центре сюжета - три основных персонажа: Фей (прекрасная дочь богатого землевладельца), её возлюбленный - Джон и София - личная горничная Фей. Фей должна уехать на обучение к своей тётушке на целых два месяца. И она поручает Софии заботится о Джоне. София, которая без ума от своей госпожи, выполняет её просьбу. А после возвращения Фей, они втроём предаются любви...
Сюжет не завершён, по ходу действа вводятся новые персонажи, которые в дальнейшем должны играть важную роль. Назревает серьёзная драма, но... Продолжения пока нет, и неизвестно будет ли оно.
