 Jailbreak iPhone 3G OS 4.0.x | 305.88 MB This hack will only work if you have an iPhone 3G at OS 4.0 or later. Today I hacked OS 4.0.2 on an out of the box replacement phone. This jailbreak is for Windows PCs. Redsn0w and apple's official 4.0 IPSW file are contained. Everything should be foldered. Plug your iPhone 3G into your computer and then turn the device off. Open up the redsn0w application. Click the browse button and select the included 4.0 IPSW file. Wait for redsn0w to verify the IPSW file, then click next. On the following screen leave all the check marks alone and click next once again. Now follow the in application instructions to finish jailbreaking your 3G. This should take a few minutes. Only use this hack if you are using Windows and have an iPhone 3G that is at OS 4.0.x. Remember use at your own risk. Good luck to all. |
