Here we have the truly awesome power of the Bosch FSA7xx series, these units are not just oscilloscopes, they are not just diagnostic scan tools, they are much more than either of these. The FSA unit is a specific motor trade orientated full systems analyser (hence FSA). The head unit incorporates a full on oscilloscope, but it is much more besides, a fully functional ignition analyser, pressure/vacuum tester, timing light etc.

With specific inputs for primary & secondary analysis, including DIS type ignition systems, as well as an optional ‘magic wand’ for testing coil on plug systems, this analyser is exactly what a modern workshop requires.

The system is available in three forms as below:

FSA750 - This is a fully integrated system, consisting of a Bosch KTS670, sitting atop a purpose designed trolley, alongside it is the measurement arm, which has all the test leads hanging from it, it then utilises the KTS670 as the display for the engine analyser. This really gives you the best of all worlds, with the KTS670 giving you the legendary serial diagnostics that the KTS series is renowned for, alongside the fantastic technical information system that is ESITronic, in conjunction with the FSA analyser diagnostics from the measurement arm. The KTS670 is still removable for mobile diagnostics and of course still features its own 2 channel oscilloscope which works entirely independently of the FSA oscilloscope system. FSA740 - This is also designed to be a fully integrated system, consisting of a high powered tower type computer, sitting inside a purpose designed trolley, alongside it is the measurement arm, which has all the test leads hanging from it, it then has a very nice 19” TFT monitor atop the trolley with a keyboard & mouse on a fold our shelf. You then have the option to add the KTS570 or KTS540 onto a bracket on the side of the trolley, again his really gives you the best of all worlds, with the KTS5xx giving you the legendary serial diagnostics that the KTS series is renowned for, alongside the fantastic technical information system that is ESITronic, in conjunction with the FSA analyser diagnostics from the measurement arm. The KTS570 is still removable for mobile diagnostics and of course still features its own 2 channel oscilloscope which works entirely independently of the FSA oscilloscope system. If you still want to be able to stay mobile for the diagnostics, this is still easily achievable as we can load the software on to as many as three computers, so we can add a laptop so that you can take the KTS module out on road test as well. FSA720 - For those who already have other diagnostic capability, the FSA720 is a simple but effective answer, it consists of exactly the same diagnostic analyser arm as we see on the FSA750 and FSA740, it is fitted with a bracket so you can mount it to your own trolley or the wall, you can even use it mobile if you wish. It connects via USB to your own laptop or PC, this gives you EXACTLY the same abilities as the 740 & 750 models without having to have the Bosch trolley to house it all. A really sensible idea to make any laptop or PC into a fully capable vehicle systems analyser. Of course you can pair this up with a KTS570 or KTS540 to make yourself a truly exceptional diagnostic system. Well worth a look.
